super laykold, is a paintable rubberized bitumen which is used together with abe membrane to provide a liquid waterproofing system that can be used even totally immersed in water. It is ideal for waterproofing areas such as flashings, parapet walls, flat roofs, and also for sealing joints, laps, and screws on corrugated roofs.
For metal roofs, use 4-Metal DTM—a water-based primer with built-in corrosion protection—as a base coat to ensure optimal adhesion and long-lasting performance.
For optimal performance, it is recommended that super laykold be protected with a.b.e.’s silvakote — a highly reflective aluminium coating suitable for metallic, most bituminous, and concrete surfaces. Easy to apply, silvakote provides effective UV resistance, helping to extend the lifespan of the substrate.

super laykold waterproofing tape is a bituminous tape with a laminated aluminium reflective facing that seals and repairs leaky fibre cement or galvanised roof sheeting, holes and overlaps, valley gutters, downpipes, roof screws, pipe vents, ridging and capping.
