Construction sealant and adhesive
A one-component adhesive and sealant based on hybrid silicone polymer. It cures with moisture in the air to form a strong, flexible,
and durable elastomer. It bonds to a wide range of construction materials including glass, metal, rubber, and plastics. Its clear finish
makes it ideal for discreet or transparent joint.
Uses
- Bonding and sealing clear plastic, glass, and transparent materials
- Display cases, signage, and window frames
- Art and craft applications, jewellery, and decorative assemblies
- General interior and exterior construction joints where clarity is preferred
Advantages
The sealant provides a crystal-clear finish, allowing for clean, invisible joints. It bonds effectively to damp surfaces, so full drying
isn’t required before application. It offers primerless adhesion to most common construction materials and is non-corrosive with a
neutral cure system. The formulation is free from isocyanates and solvents, making it safer to use. Once cured, it remains permanently elastic and resistant to movement, delivering a smooth, bubble-free finish when applied correctly.
Application
Ensure substrates, gaps and cracks are clean and free from dust, dirt, and grease.
Remove the nozzle and cut off the tip of the cartridge. Replace nozzle and cut the tip to the required width.
To secure: Apply The WORKS PRO in dots or beads, once applied surfaces should be firmly pressed together.
To seal: Apply a continuous bead of The WORKS PRO ensuring it makes full contact with the sides of the joint.
Surface preparation
Surfaces must be clean and free of grease and old glue. Mask smooth surfaces to simplify cleanup.
Bonding/Priming
No primer required.
Mixing
No mixing needed. Ready to use straight from the tube.
Coverage
Dependent on joint size, approximate coverage is 7.7 m per 290 ml cartridge based on a 6 mm x 6 mm joint.
Application
- Cut the nozzle at an angle and apply the sealant using a caulking gun, pressing firmly to ensure good contact with the surface.
- Use masking tape on both sides of the joint to keep the edges neat and protect surrounding areas
- For better control, start applying the sealant while pulling the gun toward you
- Tool the joint within five minutes using a spatula dipped in mild soapy water
- Remove the masking tape right after tooling
