dura.strip

• Reduced solvent reduces risk to the environment. dura.strip is a specially formulated emulsion consisting of water as well as solvent to give optimum results.
• It is semi water based and is therefore safe and clean.

Specification compliance: Exceed the needs of release agent as described by ASTM & BS 

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of all loose materials. Steel surfaces must be free of rust or mill scale. If extensive re-use of timber moulds is envisaged it is advisable to protect all new surfaces with abe.^®cote 320, which protects timber from alkali attack.

Typically: 30 – 40m² per liter. 

The coverage is dependent on the substrate roughness and porosity. A trial is highly recommended to determine exact quantities. 

dura.strip is a ready to use formulation and does not require any mixing. It should however be stirred prior to use.

Minimum application temperature: 5°C.

dura.strip must be applied at the recommended spread rate and any excess must be removed. dura.strip should be applied by brush, sponge roller, or conventional mould oil sprayer. dura.strip should be applied in one continuous even film. All nonabsorbent surfaces require only a single application.

NOTE:
New, unsealed timber surfaces should be re-coated if a delay period in excess of 48 hours occurs. After use, formwork should be brushed and treated with dura.strip as previously described. Remove dura.strip completely for purposes of repair or for resealing with abe.®cote 320.

Do not apply during rain or when rain is expected. 

All tools, equipment and splashes should be cleaned using clean water. Soap and water to be used for personal cleaning.

Chemical mould-release agent for easy stripping of moulds and formwork.

The mould release agent will be dura.strip; a water and solvent emulsion applied in accordance with the recommendations of a.b.e.^® Construction Chemicals.

dura.strip is available in 20 and 200 litre containers.

Shelf life is 1 year in original unopened packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight.
