Omega profile waterstops for perimetric tension and compression joints.
durajoint Omega Waterstop is a black Ethylene Propylene Diene Material (EPDM) profile designed to accommodate joint deformation
and resists external water pressure.
Uses
- Waterproofing and sealing of concrete face slab joints on
- Concrete Faced Rockfill Dams
- Perimetric and vertical slab joints
- Compression and tension slab joints
Advantages
- Exceptional resistance to ozone and aging
- High elasticity and deformation capability
- Compatible with bituminous mastics and EPDM pads

Application
Omega waterstops are external seals placed on the perimetric joints and on top of the compression and tension face slab joints. Omega waterstops
shall be manufactured with EPDM material. Compression, tension and perimetric joints shall be equipped by a 8 mm thick durajoint Omega
waterstop. The EPDM material shall conform to the specifications as per the Typical Properties table and shall be installed as per specification.
durajoint Omega waterstop shall be fixed to the concrete face using an epoxy adhesive. Retained using stainless steel flats and stainless steel
anchor bolts. Deformable waterstop and reinforcement system must resist 300% deformation and 1 MPa external water pressure.
