This large-scale flat roof waterproofing project highlights the strength and reliability of the a.b.e.® system. The substrate was cleaned, dry and free of any dust, grease, oils or loose debris. The substrate needed to be of a smooth and even condition being free of protrusions or voids.
abedex® V-SR 4 mm is an elastoplastomeric polymer modified bitumen (BPP) membrane, reinforced with a composite reinforcement.
bituprime primer was applied on the substrate, creating, optimal adhesion across both porous and non-porous surfaces with its versatile bitumen-based formulation. A high-performance, single-layer torchon system was installed using abedex® V-SR 4 mm and finished with silvakote® for UV protection.
