This large-scale waterproofing project highlights the strength and reliability of the a.b.e.® system. The substrate was cleaned, dry and free of any dust, grease, oils or loose debris. The substrate needed to be of a smooth and even condition being free of protrusions or voids. Coves or fillets were installed at all internal angles, and ensure a screed to falls of 1:80. bituprime primer was applied on the substrate, creating, optimal adhesion across both porous and non-porous surfaces with its versatile bitumen-based formulation.
A high-performance, double-layer torch-on system followed, using abedex® V-SR 3 mm and finished with the mineral slate top layer abedex® unigum MS. This combination delivers exceptional weather resistance and long-term durability, making it ideal for exposed environments.
